Since joining the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) in 2017, I have played a key role in shaping the communications strategy, driving significant growth and enhancing the influence of the VC and PE industry in Canada. As the leader of the communications and marketing department since 2019, I oversee the creation and distribution of content that amplifies our voice across digital platforms and earned media. Leading a talented marketing team, I ensure that our messaging is aligned, strategic, and impactful, fostering a strong brand presence and driving engagement across all channels.
Playing a key role to CVCA's annual investment conference, which attracts over 650 domestic and international attendees, I have helped to drive record attendance and surpassing revenue targets year after year. Together as a team, we have consistently delivered an innovative and seamless event that aligns with our organizational goals and elevates the association’s success.

- Lead the communications and marketing department, overseeing all strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing CVCA's brand, member engagement, and industry influence.
- Directed the marketing and messaging for CVCA’s flagship annual event, consistently surpassing registration revenue targets. Achieved the first-ever sold-out events for three consecutive years (2022-2024), significantly increasing attendee engagement and satisfaction.
- Drove a consistent 10% monthly increase in website traffic, resulting in a 207% year-over-year growth. Enhanced social media engagement, with Twitter interactions up by 338% and LinkedIn by 186% since 2017. Achieved a 60% growth in Twitter followers and a 164% increase in LinkedIn followers.
- Positioned CVCA as a leading voice in the industry, resulting in over 3,700 earned media placements.
