Private Equity at Work and Future-Proofing Canada's Economy (Collab with Creative Currency)

Working with Toronto-based Ad Agency, Creative Currency, in the creation of the "Private Equity at Work" and "Future Proofing Canada's Economy" campaigns, I ensured that deliverables were met on time and to the agreement of multiple groups of involved parties. Both campaigns involved working with CVCA's Industry Awareness and Editorial Committee and separately with CVCA's Government Relations Committee and Private Equity Committee to create the campaigns' messaging and look and feel. These campaigns have begun to correct misconceptions around the industry and convey its importance to Canada's economy and everyday Canadians.

The Invest Canada Conference

‍

Another major annual project has been CVCA’s conference. The Invest Canada conference is a crucial event for the CVCA, bringing together over 650 investment professionals, stakeholders, and policymakers from Canada and abroad. The conference provides a platform for attendees to connect, create business opportunities and engage in meaningful discussions about the private capital industry's latest trends and challenges.

As a lead producer for the past 8 years, my role has been critical in ensuring the event's success. I have worked closely with the CVCA team and vendors to manage logistics, the marketing budget, and ensuring an on-time delivery of conference content and activities.

‍

Drawing on my experience as a media producer, I also produce high-quality content for the conference, working with partners and vendors to produce videos, written content and promotional materials. My expertise in managing complex projects with tight deadlines, coordinating with on-air talent, and producing live shows played a significant role in the conference's consistent success year after year.

‍

These experiences (and more) have provided me a unique perspective and skill set that allows me to effectively manage projects in a variety of contexts.
